Founder & Author, Bitcoin21st · Dipl.-Ing., MSc., MRICS

Sebastian Kromer founded Bitcoin21st.de in 2023 because he felt German-language Bitcoin coverage was missing a source that explains Bitcoin without price hype or sales pressure — accessible, but without glossing over the technical and regulatory substance. Since then he has researched and written about Bitcoin as money, custody, and the regulatory developments around the network, from how the mempool works to the US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.

By profession, he is a founder and managing director, as well as a capital-raising advisor with a focus on real estate. He brings his analytical background from over ten years in real estate analysis, valuation, and transaction advisory (including at KPMG) into his Bitcoin research: checking sources, contextualizing numbers, and naming risks instead of selling opinion as fact.
